Our metal shelving foot plate is a steel plate measuring 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" x 12 with an angle bracket welded on top. The plate has a 7/16" hole punched on one end making it possible to anchor it to the floor and be embossed on the other end for shim plate alignment. The angle bracket is punched so it can be fastened to the front and back posts. Foot plates are great when shelving needs to be anchored to the floor or when shimming is useful for level installation.
